Experimental facility 1

This facility consists of 6 house units with 2160m² greenhouse space in total , which are fully equipped with tables in different heights and irrigation units. They result in an experimenting area of 1000m² in total.
All houses are S1 registered completely. 4 houses are netted as well, so that it can be worked with blooming and seed growing plants.
In one cabin house because of an active cooling system and humidity control it is possible to work under very controlled conditions. Even more controlled conditions are available in our 6 climate cabinets or 8 plant breeding rooms (climate chambers), whereof in two of them experiments under 0 °C are possible.
An optimal location for experiments under natural conditions but with controlled water supply you will find in our roofed vegetation hall with two closed and two open sides.
Even more natural conditions are possible in our open fields and the cold frames (NIEDERGLAS)
Gas exchange measurements

In cooperation with the GHL it is possible to arrange for gas exchange measurements for smaller experiment plants. Transpiration and assimilation rates will be determined.
Measurements will be taken by technical manager Herr Steinbacher, but can be collected in cooperation
