Experimental facility 3
In section 3, a modern greenhouse with a 5m standing wall height and UV-permeable roofing was created in 2017. Equipped are the 2 compartments with Kulturrinnen (drip irrigation) and height-adjustable lighting systems.
In 2020, a second modern greenhouse was built in an analogous design. The three compartments are equipped with ebb and flow culture tables and height-adjustable exposure systems. Two compartments have been specially equipped for experiments with very high humidity, which is especially required for infection experiments with fungal pathogens.
