Biosafety
Many of the GPU's facilities are certified to Safety Level S1 and comply with the regulations outlined in the TUM's Organizational Directive "Genetic Engineering in Closed Systems" (OrgV GenT-igS). This ensures that all activities adhere to the highest safety and regulatory standards. General information on the implementation of genetic engineering legislation at TUM can be found here. The current safety measures and guidelines for S1 laboratories at the GPU are detailed in the application form. Please refer to this document to ensure compliance with all required protocols and procedures.
