Your experiment at the GPU – from idea to project
We are eager to offer TUM scientists and their cooperation partners easy access to our facilities. Once an initial concept of the planned research project is formulated, the next step is an informal contact with the GPU team. We will assist you with any questions about the feasibility of your project, technical implementation, or scientific consultation. Our team will help you identify the optimal unit for your project from the extensive GPU portfolio.
Your TUMmesa project application
After the initial contact and consultation with our team, it is necessary to submit an official application for the use of GPU facilities. This application requires an organizational lead time of 14 days. Please submit your application directly to ghl[at]ls.tum.de. The GPU team will promptly assign your project to one of our master gardners. You will receive an immediate approval, and the supervising master will contact you to coordinate the next steps. Please note that an official application is also necessary for follow-up experiments.
You can cancel your application free of charge before the officially requested start of the experiment by contacting ghl[at]ls.tum.de. If you need to postpone or extend the planned experiment duration, please inform your supervising master gardener so we can adjust our space and personnel planning accordingly.
You can find the corresponding application form with explanations here.
We look forward to supporting your research project and are available for any further questions.
