Biosafety

TUMmesa is a laboratory that is certified according to biosafety level S1 and is subject to the provisions of the TUM Organizational Regulation "Genetic Engineering in Closed Systems" (OrgV GenT-igS). General information on the implementation of genetic engineering legislation at TUM can be found here. Current protective measures and rules of conduct in the TUMmesa S1 laboratory are available in the current operating instructions.
